Organization Chesed Bnai Avraham and this website was an initiative aroused from Gerim but not necessary only by the Gerim or for them
There were few of us. Families and individuals. Close or not to close friends. We knew somehow each other. Sometimes helped or supported each other. No one understands us as the others in similar situation and similar experience. No one understands better our specific needs or sometime problems. That is why we thought that we need each other from time to time, at least.
We also thought that other people need to know about our challenges and hardship, the real challenges, not a stereotypical functioning in frum society. But we also thought that they need our inspirational stories and testimonials. They will like when we share our unique power of Emuna (acceptance) and Betuchen (trust) in our Creator. And it is truth we have a lot to learn but also a lot to offer. That is why we were thinking, it is necessary to have place like Bnai Avraham and this website.
More than decade passed from establishment of this initiative.
We were trying and there were meetings and relationships between some families but due to great recession there were no funds to continue this noble work. Another words – lack of funds was the coffin and personal Hurban of the administrator of this website was the last thick nail sealing this project.
The idea still seems to be virtuous, but it will not be resurrected if someone will not pick the managing relay and will be able to organize necessary funds.
